About Me

This is the wound we need to get healed.  We have 2 quarter horses and a mule.  This horse was run through a barbed wire fence and he broke his neck cradle

It looks as if you have tried to sew up the injury have to talked to your vet yet about the underwood horse medicine. I know our vet loves and recomends it to everyone. You would be amazed at how fast a mess like that heals up with a couple applications. I wish i had taken before pictures of the gelding we have here. You could see just a small bit of his bone on the front leg and i had a horse years before with a simulor injury and it had been treated with stitches and ointment only to heal with a great deal of proud flesh and go lame in two year on that leg. This gelding, i was not going to repeat that mistake and used the underwood. the swelling left in a day or two and the wound healed from the inside out and now shows just the barest line of flesh where no hair grew back other then that you would never know he was injured he had never limped on it and this is three years later. It works. I know i can send you some if you like or ask around down there if you have a dealer. Our vet sells it as well out of the Sauk Valley Vet Service of Sauk Centre, MN Good luck, Becky
